Elena’s rusks date back to an old baking recipe made with flour, sesame and plenty of love.  It all started back in the day when Yiannos fell in love with Elena. Together they started a wonderful family and a small baking business. When Yiannos bought their first kneader using the money from their daughter’s Christening, Elena - upset by his actions- refused to speak to him for three whole days. Little did they know, that some failed soft dough would turn into their first batch of rusks and they would change the course of their family history forever. The rusks were such a success that they devoted their business exclusively to producing them.

Keeping high standards of quality, using pure ingredients, traditional techniques and no preservatives, grandma Elena’s recipe has managed to delight generations of Cypriots with the mesmerizing smell of sourdough, cinnamon, aniseed and olives. Keeping the same traditional values, they expanded their collection of products to include homemade food, baked goods and sweets that with every bite will give you a taste of Cyprus.
