LIMASSOL AGORA OPENED ITS DOORS FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY TO HOST A K.Y.F.A. FASHION SHOW
On December 15, 2019 the Limassol AGORA offered support by opening its doors to the public for the first time to host Elina Leventi’s fashion show “Back to the Future”.
The fashion show was in aid of K.Y.F.A, a non-profit organisation promoting awareness and offering support to patients affected by HIV and AIDS.
The successful event filled the 101-year-old AGORA with new life and glam! The event welcomed people from the whole community to increase awareness and raise funds for a great cause.
CHRISTMAS CAROLS WITH LIMASSOL’S SPECIAL NEEDS ASSOCIATION
The Prosperity Group offices were visited by Limassol’s Special Needs Association Day Centre during the holiday season last December. Brimming with happiness, everybody at the office enjoyed the singing and dancing performances of our excited visitors whilst enjoying snacks and drinks. The Prosperity Group, committed to giving back to the community, made a donation to the association and gifted Christmas presents.
REVAMPING A LANDMARK
As part of a long term initiative to reform the city of Limassol, the Prosperity Group has been the main sponsor for the revamping of Ayios Nikolaos roundabout with a new spectacular fountain system.
With this 75, 000 euro project, the Prosperity Group contributes to making Limassol one of the most attractive and dynamic destinations in Europe and the Mediterranean.
Hailed as the gem of the city, the renovated central roundabout with its new grand fountain constitutes a significant landmark enjoyed both by locals and visitors.
LIMASSOL AGORA AND EMEL: SUPPORT TO THE "LITTLE HEROES"!
September is the month of information and awareness of childhood cancer and this year EMEL Limassol, together with Limassol AGORA and EUMEP Loukas Fourlas, held an event for the financial support of the families of the “Little Heroes” Of the Pediatric Oncology.
Limassol AGORA embraced and strengthened EMEL’s initiative, The Marketing and Event Executive of the Limassol AGORA, Konstantinos Dionysiou, told the “Limassol” newspaper.
As explained, they wanted with great joy to support this fight, the families of the “Little Heroes” and with great, as he said emotion, the whole event took place.
Continuing, Mr. Dionysiou stressed that Limassol AGORA aims to support children and adults in need and that’s why he said, they will go on to even more events this month and next. “And from December onwards, our action will be even more intense,” he added.
On her part, EMEL Limassol with her post on social media thanks Limassol AGORA, noting that the “Little Heroes at this time are called to give even more difficult battle and they need us more”.
“Love, solidarity and altruism are values that characterize and unite the Cypriot society. With Love, Faith, Peace, hope, we all continue together … “because no child should fight alone”, concludes the announcement.
The Prosperity Group was a main sponsor and coordinator of the renovation of the offices of the Cyprus Red Cross Youth Section in Limassol.
